Zeeland graduate Brandon Haveman could not have bought a better first year playing baseball for Purdue. Haveman, who transferred from Lake Michigan College, won the Big Ten batting title for his .444 average in conference play and was one shy of tying the league record with 52 conference hits.... read more

The Big Ten Conference announced kickoff times and television plans Wednesday for the first four weeks of the 2008 football season. Purdue got two more noon home starts to go with two others later in the season. The Boilers also got a 3:30 p.m. kickoff against Oregon at Ross-Ade Stadium.... read more
