I have had a ten gallon tank for about 4 months now with one goldfish in it (calico, 3.5 inches). I am switching to a 20 gallon tomorrow. The thing is, the filter cartridge in my ten gallon was really gross and needed to be changed. I didn't have any more cartridges so I decided to set up my 20 gallon filter in the 10 gallon tank. It would only be until tomorrow, but even for now I don't know if this filter is way too powerful for the tank and would bother my fish. Any suggestions?... read more
