Open Question: Female questions... No not that silly....?

I really just want to know if I am to sensitive or what is going on.. I have been married to a great guy for about two years now. We have a ten month old baby boy together.. When we were married I weighed 135 pounds and looked GOOD.. Well, I never lost my baby weight and well, I am fat (I could stand to lose about 40 pounds).. I know my hubby doesn't like how overweight I am become and neither do I, but I stay home all day, I live 2500 miles from my friends and family and I am depressed (Plus I quit smoking when I I got pregnant). It's hard raising a baby on my own.. Any-who - I wanted to buy some new "fat" clothes the other day and my hubby said I couldn't buy them.. When I asked why he said once you lose your weight I can buy all the clothes I wanted to.. Now, I am just being sensitive here? Or was that really a rude remark on his behalf? I even offered to shop at the Goodwill, but he won't support that either.. Since I am ONLY the housewife and he make all the money, he tells me what I can and can not spend money on. Am I just being a big baby about this? I am just sick of wearing cotton shorts and and big shirts all the time (Shirts that I used to sleep in when I was thin). Once in a while I want to "dress up" even if I am a tad overweight.... Maybe he doesn't understand, or this is his way of giving me "insentives" but believe me it's NOT working!!!! I just want another opinion.. Let me know what you think?... read more
